The conference will take place October 7–9, 2026, in Monterrey, Mexico. Organized by the Sociedad Mexicana de Investigación de Operaciones (SMIO) in collaboration with the Universidad de Monterrey, CSMIO 2026 will bring together researchers, academics, professionals, and students from Mexico and around the world to share the latest advances in Operations Research.

The congress aims to provide a meeting point for the scientific community working in Operations Research, fostering the exchange and dissemination of recent scientific and technological developments, as well as new academic and professional collaborations.

The program will feature plenary talks and tutorials by specialists in the field, regular sessions presenting research and practical applications, a poster exhibition, a best thesis award competition, and a Location-Routing Challenge sponsored by Hexaly.
